the actual project or you accidentally stumbled upon this site.
Basically what I have done here is recreated the SNK vs Capcom
Card Fighter Clash for the Neo-Geo Pocket Color onto actual playing
cards so that you can play the game with your friends in real
time, since not many people have a NGPC these days. I started this project
back in January 2002 and never was quite happy with it. So now that the
DS version of the game has been released and proven to be inferior to
the NGPC version in many ways. I've decided to finish this project. As
of September 14 2007 the initial card set is done. I know what you might
be thinking, "That would cost too much money to print off." Not true, if
you have a good printer you can print off a deck for the price of an ink
cartridge and paper. Otherwise if you have a professional print it for
you it would still be fairly cheap. I printed the entire set for $120.
424 Cards total which amounts to about $0.28 per card and that's both sides
of the card to be printed up and then proffesionally cut.

The Card Fighter DS Project will live on. There was a point when I had
decided to drop the DS cards all together and I was going to remove them
from the site. I have now decided that I will finish the 2nd series. To
view these cards simply click on the link on the left side labled as "Series
2". From there just go into what ever section your interested in; Capcom.
SNK, Action, or Reaction.

It's now been almost a full year since the last update. This update was
to make the above announcement and a slight redesign to the website. Thank
you to all of you who have been sending in picture from your gaming sessions
using the cards that is really cool. Keep them coming. Also you may notice
a new link on the left for Retromags.com.
Follow that link and check them out you can download classic video game
magazines and their forum is a great place to hang out.

I'm still alive and well. Sorry for no updates over the past few months.
I've been just so busy with other projects and real life responsibilties.
I'm still wanting to work on the project so keep coming back. Every once
and a great while I'd done a bit of work on the DS cards but not enough to
bother posting. So it's coming. Eventually!
