MockSo you might be asking yourself, “What is this project all about?” Well, what I have done here was recreated the SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters Clash (which was released for the Neo-Geo Pocket Color) into actual playing cards, so that you can play the game with your friends as a physical card game. Originally released in 1999 and many of the rules that have been adapted to this project were part of the 2nd game in the series which was never released in the US.

The project originally stared in January of 2001. I never was very happy with the original design as it looked very amaturish. One decade later, I decided to breath new life into the project. What you see in front of you is the 1.0 product. I feel as though it is now to a point where I can be happy with the looks and feel of the cards. I would eventually like to see every card have fan art on them.

This has been a labor of love ever since the beginning. I have never made one cent from this project and I never will. This is available to all for free. If you want to print your own cards that will be of course at your own expense; either printing them at home or getting a print shop to do this for you.

kiddoCard Fighters Project is no more!
October 21, 2017 at 9:00 PM (Central Time)

All good things must come to an end, Card Fighters Project as of today is being discontinued. Since this is no longer a project but has now become a full-fledged game, the project will from now on be referred to as Card Fighters Special (web address will remain the same as it has over the years). As you may recall, during the redesign there were two sets of the same cards the Original Series and the Special Series. I used the name "Special" to differentiate the old style from the new. The word "Special" was also used as a throwback to the SNK games of old when a game received an update. In this case, an update has been taking place for quite some time now and is just about ready to be uploaded.

I have been getting help from Raito, a fan of the project, who has been looking over the cards to fix inconsistencies and other errors. There has also been a slight redesign on some elements as well as a new card back that will be distributed (the old design will remain available for those who do not want to change all their cards over). Along with the upcoming 2.0 launch, Ratio has been working hard on translating all of the 424 cards into Spanish. Keep a lookout in the coming months for that to drop.

kiddoCFP original style cards are being removed
October 14, 2017 at 5:32 PM (Central Time)

There are some changes on the horizon concerning Card Fighters Project as well as the website. In preperation for the changes I will be permanately removing the early style cards from the site. If you would like to get your hands on them head over to that part of the site and download now. I'm not sure how much longer they will last.

On top of the removal of the original style cards there have been a few changes on the site and you may see other changes popping up. A rather large announcment is on the way, so I'm just preparing things on the site for it.

kiddoRules Page Updated
September 2, 2016 at 8:56 PM (Central Time)

As I have decided to go back and reread the rules that I have printed I realized that it was very difficult to follow. I have rewritten the rules page and it should be much easier to understand. I will also be putting up a video to explain the rules for those who have difficulty reading.
